Is Billy Talent slightly indy, or indy punk, or possibly Alternative and Indy, because some of their old stuff (first album, songs like “Try Honesty”) sound a little like indy. I know my music, I’ve just always thought of them as Alternative, and now… well what do you think? Lets spark a disscution.

Seriously. It sounds like you’re spending more time trying to figure out a label for them & less time just getting into them.
Forget trying to figure out “indie” or alt’….just listen.
But if you Must know, I’d go to their website, find the Email/contact area & ask the band themselves.
itunes puts it under alternative and punk, which i actually agree with(itunes is retared sometimes)
