Pre-Law does not have to be history. It just has to be something where there is a significant amount of intellectual challenge such that a law school would look at your transcript and see that you’re capable of taking in large quantities of written material and doing something with it.
Just to warn you, with a major like vocal performance, you’re going to be dealing with a lot of real weird people.
im a little partial because i go here, but the University of Mary Washington (top three school in the state) offers a phenomenal voice program, and a very strong history/poli sci program.
also, an interesting fact, mary washington has one of the very few historic preservation programs in the entire country.
as far as the theater and voice program goes, there are several choirs to join and constantly new plays to act in.
i have friends in both the voice program and the history program, and i know there is a large pre-law society at UMW.
also, its not too expensive, especially in-state.
its about 13thou a year instate, and 23thou a year out of state
